Facial Gua Sha is a massage technique designed to relieve tension in the muscles of the face, shoulders, and neck. It boosts blood & oxygen circulation and encourages lymphatic drainage to banish bloat. It helps break up fascia, the connective tissue that hugs muscles but can sometimes interfere with optimal circulation.
At Farm Girl we also incorporate this into our back massages as well as our facials as the results have been so good to not use this across the body!
Farm Girl’s Gua Sha is made from Aventurine crystal which is one of the luckiest stones in the world, Ancient Tibetans often adorned their statues’ eyes with Aventurine because they believed it would increase its powers. This means not only will it bring you a tauter, more glowy complexion it will help by boosting your feelings of optimism and enhance your manifestation powers!
The reason I chose a small Gua Sha is so you can use this all over the body but mainly because it fits into all curves of the face, is easy to travel with, fits comfortably in the palm of the hand and is light and easy to hold. The two long sides are best used for sweeping across your cheeks, whilst the heart shape which I made quite deep compared to others as they fit into the jaw and pointy ends are great for massaging and on pressure points.
